Brings together local people in Windmill Gardens for a fun afternoon that promotes the historic Brixton Windmill and Brixton Flour as well as local musicians, craft breweries and artisan bakers. Organised by the Friends of Windmill Gardens charity number 1176991

This popular Brixton Windmill provides good food and drink for adults and sports, games and creative activities for children. It helps develop community cohesion in our very diverse neighbourhood and promotes the historic Brixton Windmill.

Help set up and dismantle this very popular annual event in Windmill Gardens. There are two shifts one for set up and one to help take things down. 10am-12.30pm and Shift 2: 5pm-6.30pm Between 1pm-5pm please enjoy the afternoon at the Festival!

On the day advice will be provided by the crew and FoWG team about lifting heavy loads and use trolleys wherever possible. Main tasks will be erecting stage area, gazebos, moving tables/chairs and putting up signs.

You will be working with a professional crew used to setting up and dismantling an open air festival of this size as well as our Brixton Windmill events team, so will be well looked after!
