A friendly group of volunteers meeting on the second Sunday of the month and Monday mornings . All abilities welcome - our goal that volunteers have a worthwhile experience.

The UK's annual Love Parks Week runs from July 24 to August 2, 2026. The nation-wide campaign—spearheaded by Keep Britain Tidy—celebrates the country's green spaces and aims to encourage communities to get outside and protect their local amenities. Well be celebrating by helping out at Fort Royal Park.

A simple task with huge benefits to you and the park. There are several new trees that need lots of water to help them grow. The problem is that the tap is at the top of the hill and the trees are near the bottom! Consider this a hill rep session that creates a legacy. Your efforts lugging buckets up and down the slope will give you a great workout that will be remembered for decades as the trees grow.

We'll have a 2km run along the river each way to get to and from the park. Everyone is welcome (over 18s) and we always run at a conversational pace. No one gets left behind.

Join us at the cafe in the Hive afterwards to chat about how we can all help build Good Gym Worcester into something wonderful that can benefit the city.

Meet at the entrance to the Hive ready to go at 6:30pm. Please make sure you are registered on the GoodGym system first.

  • Cycle parking is available right next to the Hive.
  • Toilets are available in the Hive
  • There's a cafe in the Hive for post run refuel and refreshments.
  • Unfortunately bags cannot be left at The Hive.

New to GoodGym?

This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.

New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

Options are available to run between 5km and 5km in total

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us or see if there's a starter session coming up in your area.
