Welcome to GoodGym Liverpool

We're a friendly and social group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every week to get active and do a physical task to help the charities and community organisations and projects in our area.

The Task: This week we'll be helping at the Pagoda Centre, a Chinese community and cultural centre and the home of the Liverpool's famous Chinese Youth Orchestra. The task details are still TBC but having helped the centre before with painting the office and gardening, we know that they have a tiny staff team and our GoodGym people power is a huge help.

The Run/walk:

GoodGym is for everyone. We welcome runners of all abilities and it is often possible to walk to the task if you would prefer. We always have a back-marker so no-one is left behind - we're about achieving something together so you'll always be welcome no matter what your pace is. It is 1km between our Hope Street base and Pagoda Arts, therefore it is possible to walk to the task. For runners and walkers alike, we offer a fitness session after the task to ensure that everyone gets their blood pumping!

So what are you waiting for? Sign-up today and invite your friends.

GoodGym Liverpool meets inside the Hope Street Hotel, usually in one of the lower ground floor meeting rooms. Check at reception for directions.

IMPORTANT - Group run cancellation

Following extensive research, consultation with our trustees and work on how GoodGym as a community can play a positive role during the Coronavirus outbreak we have reached the conclusion to make extensive changes to our operations. **All group runs will stop for the foreseeable future** - this includes this week’s runs. This decision has been made as these are the events at which most people gather and at which we are most at risk of spreading infection.

We will continue to update this page with our most up to date guidance - https://www.goodgym.org/stories/coronavirus-information-for-goodgym-activities
