I looked a bit bedraggled when I got to the laundrette with the lovely Ms L’s towels and sheets; however the suggestion that I should jump into a washing machine seemed a little bit harsh. I’ll be back to pick up Ms L’s washing later in the week though.

I’d had quite a long chat with Ms L before heading out into the rain - she was upset about a family death and she told me lots about the niece and her life back in Malaysia.
