Welcome to GoodGym Liverpool

We're a friendly and social group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every Monday evening to get active and do a physical task to help the charities and community organisations and projects across Liverpool.

Most Group Runs will be lead one of our fabulous volunteer qualified Run Leaders, but watch out for ones listed as 'Social Runs' as this means no Run Leader is present but we still go out and run together keeping our 'no one left beind' GoodGym vibe in place!

The Task

Lark Lane Neighbourhood Association have asked us to come and help out with a litter pick once a quarter on and around Lark Lane. It's an area that gets a heavy footfall, and litter fall, so all help to keep on top of things is greatly appreciated by the local community.

All tools will be provided but please bring your own gloves! As it's still dark in the evenings do wear that high vis running gear and bring a head/chest torch too (we'll also have our trusted little GoodGym flood lights to help us along)

The Run

Runners meet at the Suitcases on Hope Street ready for 6:30pm for a warm up and a run to the task. What 3 Words meet up link

For anyone that prefers not to run you can make your own way there and meet at the task location stating point, which is the very top of Lark Lane where it meets Aigburth Road ready for 6:55pm https://what3words.com/career.crew.singer

Please do let us know, either in the comments below or in our WhatsApp group, if you are running or meeting us there to avoid our run leaders waiting unnecessarily for you!

Sign up by 6:30pm on Monday 11th November so we can let Ema know who to expect.

Options are available to run between 2km and 4km in total

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.
