H.O.P.E in community
We’re a local community group based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and we aim to help people get more involved with their local community. We were founded in September 2017 by Peter Robertshaw, who wanted to help make a difference in the local area. He has since recruited several volunteers who help with every aspect of the running from fundraising to the behind the scenes admin that needs to be done.

We will be running to help the Hope in Community shop in town.

Tasks on the night are subject to change, but may include sorting donations, pricing up and cleaning, along with other miscellaneous bits and bobs.

Options are available to run between 1km and 1km in total

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.

Parking free from 6pm.

Parking is free from 6pm in the carpark on the corner of Sackville Street and Westgate. Walk through Gatewy Plaza to the Premier Inn, the Glasshouse bar is next door.
