Who this task will support
Voices of Hope
In the midst of the current crisis we shall continue to seek to be a voice of hope to all. We are working closely with Kingston Council and Kingston Voluntary Action. We have been designated responsibility as a central food distribution point for the whole of Kingston borough, with the aim of providing support to the most vulnerable in our community including the homeless, the isolated and those whose income is inadequate to meet their daily needs

We have been asked by VoH who are preparing thousands of hot meals for those unable to do so (10,000 to date!) for help getting their weekly Monday deliveries up stairs to the chefs ready to cook for the coming four weeks. (2 volunteers)

Arrive at 11am Kingsgate Church 161A Clarence St, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1QT (just behind KFC) and get lifting until all are safely packed away. You may finish by 12/1pm and are welcome to stay for lunch at 1pm if still there at that time.
