Who this task will support
PowerStation Youth Centre
PowerStation Youth Centre run by Achieving for Children (AFC) which offers a wide range of activities for young people aged 8 to 19 to engage in and enjoy. Achieving for Children provides specialist social care services for children and young people in need of support and protection. These include statutory assessment and care planning for children at risk of significant harm, quality provision for looked-after children and those leaving care, as well as fostering and adoption services.

Join us for the first group run of the year (but you don't actually have to run, it's a great place to cycle to or there are buses that run right outside too!).

We will meet outside Tap Tavern in Richmond to stretch and run approx. 4km at around 6-6:30/km pace to Mortlake where we will get involved with helping at the club (exact task tbc but will be indoors). If you would rather meet there, we should be there around 7.20pm. Or you may choose to run there and take public transport home afterwards, the choice is yours!

First timers very welcome, no tools or experience required and the task can be adapted to injuries or accessibility needs.

After the task we will run back to the start point and stretch off before heading home, a proper evening of keeping fit by doing good!

New to GoodGym?

This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.

New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

Options are available to run between 4km and 8km in total

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.
