Wild Green E13
Wild Green E13 is a voluntary community organisation, founded in 2019, concerned with the design, establishment, and maintenance of a community garden in the Upperton Road West Park. The Wild Green E13 aims are as follows: • By the community, for the community: they aim to bring local people, of all ages and backgrounds, together. • Positive change: they aim to create a space which will foster positive change in their local area. • Immersive wildlife experience: they aim to offer opportunities to learn and engage with nature and wildlife in their urban garden for all. • Sustainability: because of the climate crisis, they aim to create a sustainable, low impact, urban garden

After a successful first visit in April, we shall be returning to the lovingly maintained Community Garden at Wild Green E13, a grassroots community group transforming Upperton Road West Park into a thriving, sustainable urban garden 🌿, to help our friendly host Fleur.

Founded in 2019, Wild Green E13 is all about bringing people together—creating a welcoming space where the local community can connect, learn new skills, and experience nature and wildlife right in the heart of the city. Their garden isn’t just a green space—it’s a hub for positive change, biodiversity, and community spirit.

They’re a small but dedicated team, and this is where we come in.

We’ll be rolling up our sleeves to help:

  • Clear an overgrown path and make the space more accessible

  • Weed borders, beds, and planters to help plants thrive

  • Carry out general garden maintenance to keep things looking great

Your efforts will make an immediate, visible difference—helping maintain a space that benefits people of all ages and backgrounds, supports local wildlife, and promotes sustainable urban living.
