Who this task will support
Critical Support
We exist for people who need our support, a safe place or other forms of aid during turbulent times in their lives. We support people escaping conflict or dealing with overwhelming emergencies (domestic or international) and local community groups and other charities in South West London. We promote food-waste reduction, diverting Supermarket/shop food surplus to help provide relief to people suffering financial hardship. Provide a reliable and sustainable supply of quality food that meets all food standards to those who need it most. Provide relief and assistance to NHS frontline workers should the need arise in the future.

Task starts at 7pm (session is listed from 6:45pm for those joining the walk from Mitcham tram stop.

We will be helping James (Hub Manager) with various jobs that are needed at this time of year. This is an indoor job but it's chilly in the warehouse, and of course you will want to wear suitable clothing en-route - and we recommend having a torch/headtorch or fully charged mobile phone (with a torch) to get there.

Don't forget about tracking your walk/run/cycle to contribute to the January Challenge and if you would like to join some of the team with a walk and get some steps in we will be meeting at Mitcham tram stop (on the Tramway Path side - Google maps location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/4cjfGxMi91G1LkLG9) so please aim to meet ahead of 6:45pm when we will depart for a 10-15 minute walk over to the Critical Support hub.

The task location is a little difficult to find if you don't know the area so allow extra time if you haven't been there before and What3Words is the best way to navigate: ///picked.fortunate.offer https://w3w.co/picked.fortunate.offer
