Who this task will support
The Nest Project
Charity who collects baby clothes and equipment and distributes them to families that need them

At team of volunteers based at The Nest (where we regularly run to sort donated baby and toddler clothes!) are hosting a Winter Feast. The feast will be a two course vegetarian meal with food sourced from local businesses including Root Connections. This is a local market garden that works to end homelessness.

We have arranged for GoodGym to help them cook/set-up/serve/clean-up etc.

The team needs help from 1pm - 9pm. There is no pressure to stay for the whole duration, just going along for a few hours would be an enormous help to them!

Note: if you can't come and volunteer then please buy a ticket for the meal as we are very much invited to join in!!!!!!!!! It will be a great way to meet other volunteers.

Please contact rebekah@bathsdr.org if you have any questions, or use the form in the link above to buy a ticket.

Note: although it says I am leading this task I am not around on this weekend and won't be able to make the event myself, unfortunately.

How are you getting there?

Meet in the foyer of the leisure centre. Look out for GoodGym members with red t-shirts. There's space to change and leave bags and toilets. We're not planning to do anything purposefully dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk. Participants accept full responsibility for items stored at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre, and Bath Sports and Leisure Centre and GoodGym will not be held liable for any losses or damages.
