Dons Local Action Group
We are a community of volunteers supporting people facing severe financial hardship across South West London. Through our local networks, we provide essential items such as food, technology, and furniture to those in need – working alongside schools, councils, charities and other partners to make sure help gets to where it’s needed most.

We have been asked to help with lovely DLAG volunteers with face painting - so think rainbows and sparkles to get everyone at the fair into the Merton Pride vide ahead of the march at 2pm.

You don't need to be particularly creative as there will be stencils, and there are other jobs (just supporting with the queue for example) - this is a lovely way to help the local community to enjoy what is a great event.

On arrival at the fair, hunt out the DLAG face painting gazebo/tent and if you don't see another GoodGym volunteer just tell the volunteers who you are and they will tell you what needs doing. Don't forget to get your own face painted too - if you like!

Finally, why not join us for the first part of the parade/march - we will be litter picking with Sustainable Merton (sign up here), or the packing away of the fair (sign up here).

We recommend heading to Abby Mills for the activities and entertainment later in the day too.
