Getting there

For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!

    About this session

Merton Pride is taking place on Saturday 5th September and Goodgym will be helping with the pack down of stalls in Morden Hall Park after the parade but first we will be joining the parade and supporting Sustainable Merton to help with litter picking along the way.

Meet the Sustainable Merton team outside the Snuff Mill(Google Maps pin: https://maps.app.goo.gl/jd2XZryKQJYymiyu8). Litter pickers and bags will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own (some gloves might also be handy if you have these).

The parade takes place between 2-3pm and the route will be from Morden Hall Park to Abbey Mills. However anyone joining us for the pack away of the fair will need to tail off mid way and head back to the start area for the next session. You are welcome to continue with the Sustainable Merton team to the end of the route.

If you would like to join the retrospective session helping to pack down stalls sign up here.

We recommend heading to the event at Merton Abbey Mills bandstand afterwards for an unforgettable celebration of music, live performances, and cultural showcases that capture the vibrant spirit and rich diversity of Merton!

    Be part of the solution

As Merton's local environmental charity, we aim to inspire, mobilise and enable our community to take action on climate change and protect our environment for future generations. Sustainability and wellbeing go hand in hand, so our projects address both environmental and social goals, such as addressing the cost of living crisis and strengthening community connections. We believe that a happier, healthier, more connected community is one that will have the greatest impact.
