Who this task will support
Martin Way Methodist Church
Christian CARE is a charity working in the London Borough of Merton. They are a group of 60 volunteers from 16 different churches offering help to anyone whatever their race, colour or religion. Each year over 100 families, whose lives are in crisis, are supported. They are always in need of food, clothes and furniture, so please follow the link to their website for further details and their latest requirements.

Note that the session starts at 7pm. The listing shows 6.30pm as this is the meeting time if you are joining the group run beforehand (further details below).

The community garden project grows vegetables for the church activities and the community. Over the seasons the garden has lots of different jobs and our host Abby will have something for us to do which will be suitable for this time of year - we are likely to be outside and you will need gardening gloves (so bring some along if you have these, or there are spares on site).

GROUP RUN DETAILS: meeting point at 6.30pm is The Leather Bottle, 277 Kingston Road, London SW19 3NW - distance will be 2-3km. There will also be a run back. Please sign up to indicate you will be joining this so we know who to expect.
