Achilles International UK is a mixed disability running group and every Thursday, they hold a friendly and social track session at Paddington Rec Track. They have had an increased number of visually impaired runners join recently and so they need guide runners to help lead them around the track!
You can find out more about the club here.
You don't need to have had guide running experience before, they will teach us everything we need to know on the evening. All abilities of running welcome. Some of the members are on their couch to 5k journey and some are a lot quicker so we need runners of all speeds to help out!
Meet at Maida Vale tube station at 6:10pm to accompany some of the visually impaired runners to the track or if you can't be there in time then head directly to the track, the session will begin at 6:30pm.
See you there!
How are you getting there?
