Come join other volunteers. The sessions is 10:00-13:00 with lunch provided at 12 noon.

The Mulberry Tree Community Garden is located in the Tottenham Quaker meeting house grounds, bringing people together from across the community and sharing the vegetables. It is open to everyone and especially welcomes asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants to join in, to get to know the neighbourhood and to find a sense of belonging. Volunteers are able to take veg, herbs and fruit home with them. Lunch, tea coffee, tools and gloves are provided plus transport costs for those on low incomes. The community garden gets its name from a large Mulberry tree in the grounds. This tree was once part of a much larger orchard behind the Friend’s Meeting House. Its fruit is said to have given Tottenham Cake’s bright pink icing its distinctive colour.
