Yes We Have Loads of Bananas

2 Goodgymers helped out with Foodcycle today. This was Gill’s first time on food collection and she picked up a car load of surplus food from two local supermarkets including three fruit boxes full of bananas. The assorted fruit veg and other foods were delivered to the cooking team at Hightown Baptist for the creation of a nutritious and tasty meal. Later it was Kamal’s first time at Foodcycle and he got stuck into welcoming the guests and serving the food - including generous portions of banana surprise.
