St George's Parish Church
We provide a free 3 course hot meal using surplus food feeding 30 people each week from all sections of society, including some who would otherwise be very marginalised. We have a free Toddler stay and play every Thursday, upwards of 50 families. We run extremely popular community events such as firework parties, Pancake parties, back to school parties etc. We have a Children and Families worker, and a wonderful creative cook, but we rely heavily on volunteers to keep these events running. We urgently require flyers dropped to local estates telling people about our events, especially the Coronation party on Sunday May 7th, but if no-one is available at such short notice, we would like to register with you anyway, as we need help with other jobs and would love to gear from you!

On Wednesday evening, Area Activator Simon will be helping with a local flyering task for St George's Parish Church.

The objective is to inform isolated and offline residents in the surrounding area about upcoming community events, including a clothes swap, fix and repair workshops and tea and coffee socials (all for free, and hosted at the church).

Aiming at local streets and estates- we will be given a map on the night!
