FareShare Food Collection at Tesco, Richmond

We'll be in the Tesco Metro Store on George Street, Richmond, handing out FareShare 'shopping lists' with suggested donations. Customers can then buy items from this list to leave at the in-store food collection at the end of their shop. This food is taken to the nearest 21 FareShare Regional Centres where volunteers sort it to then redistribute it to 3500 charities across the country.

This task was a huge success last year with GoodGym helping FareShare collect thousands of donations in stores up and down the country!
It's a 2.5 hour slot from 6-8.30pm but if you can only make part of that please still come along, just add a comment below saying roughly when you can make it.
Upon arrival at the store please report to customer services to sign in and collect anything needed for the task. You may be stood by the entrance so bring some layers to keep warm!

I’ve just followed the link and there are still spaces so do have another try (maybe someone has cancelled since you tried?)
1. Follow the link on the Mission Listing
2. Search for Postcode TW9 1HY
3. Click on the green icon for the Richmond Tesco on George Street
4. Choose the Thurs 6pm slot which is in the bottom left of the available shifts.
It should then take you through to registration on the FareShare Site.
Hi Anita, the mission listing says Monday 25th but that's not an available option on the document? I notice you reference Thursday above... Is the date perhaps wrong on the GoodGym site?
The Fareshare/Tesco store collection runs from 21 Nov (Thursday ) until Saturday 23 Nov when Tesco will be donating an 20% extra in cash value of all donations made in store. You can still sign up on the FareShare website to help out tomorrow and Saturday in Tesco stores around the country.
I apologise for somehow creating duplicate listings for Thurs 21 Nov and Monday 25th.
There will be the usual GoodGym Richmond Group run on Monday 25 Nov from Wholefoods Richmond so please do sign up for that. It starts at 6.45pm, just a few doors away from Tesco.
