Banking on GoodGym

2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Elizabeth House Food Hub in Islington.

  • Sam Chapman
  • John Shirley

Led by Simon Fitzmaurice

Since we've started helping them regularly, Elizabeth House Food Bank have offered us their facilities as a base for Group Runs, so it was good to be helping them for our last Community Mission of 2021.

Sam and myself delivered as many heavy bags of food and Christmas goodies as we could carry, to help the needy of Highbury. We were directed by friend-of-GoodGym Fran from Octopus Communities, who we've worked with so often in the last eighteen months.

Time for a break, but looking forward to many more Good Deeds in 2022.

Thanks for writing up John. We look like we're off to a bank job there!
