Community work day on the Island finishing with a summer party

This Saturday we are helping Grass Roots Forest School CIC on the island by the canal, yes that's right there's an island down there!
The Task:
This is a work day to try and get as much done as possible so you can come anytime between 12-5pm but please stay as long as you can spare.
Please bring your own gloves if you have them otherwise tools will be provided.
There will be tons of work to do including:
- Bridge building with logs/branches
- Raking through pesky ground cover ivy
- Clearing ivy from suffocating trees
- Shifting fallen or cut wood/branches
The Summer Party:
From 5pm we will be stopping to have a summer party with a BBQ and drinks and we'd love you to stay and celebrate with us!
If you can't make the task but fancy the party that's cool too, come on down!
If you'd like to bring some food and drink to share that would be amazing, please comment below what you are planning to bring.
Meeting Point:
When you arrive you will need to call myself or Jane to come and meet you outside The Fox Pub as access to the island is restricted. Please call 07841385656 or 07724017242 to let us know you are here.

Hello everyone,
Thank you so much for signing up to help tomorrow, unfortunately the weather is looking a bit sketchy with thunderstorms looking possible throughout the afternoon so we are going to rearrange for in a few weeks time instead.
