As we focus more on Community Missions over the coming months one benefit is that we can expand our support to new areas, with this task taking us to the town of Heanor, near by to Ilkeston.
Within Heanor is a Rethink Mental Illness centre supporting residents in a live-in facility to cope with their illnesses & rehabilitate ready for independence.
Our support is needed to help clear the pathway leading to one of the residents flats, which because of the wind & rain has become covered in debris & leaves & has become a slip hazard for the gentleman living there.
Prepare to sweep, litter-pick & have friendly banter with the residents on this awesome task where your help will be greatly appreciated by staff & residents alike!

Hi Penny, looking forward to meeting you tomorrow! The address is 94 Derby Road, Heanor, DE75 7QL and there is a car park where we will all meet at 1:30pm. If you have a pair of gardening gloves please bring them, and Dani will bring the tools. A few of us are going for a run at Shipley Park afterwards if you fancy joining us.
