The Union Canal played an important role in Southall's transformation from a small agricultural village into a thriving industrial and transport hub. Today, it is part of a popular walking route used by residents and visitors seeking peace, exercise, and the opportunity to explore London's waterways.

Sadly, some sections of the canal and towpath have become affected by litter, reducing the beauty of this historic and natural space.

To help make a difference, I am organising a community clean-up along the canal.

Join me for a slow-paced 3 km Peace Walk and Clean-Up as we stroll along this beautiful stretch of the canal, collecting litter and helping to restore the area for everyone to enjoy.

This is a relaxed, social task suitable for all fitness levels, combining light exercise with positive environmental action.
