Celebrating Student Volunteer week at Newcastle University
Spreading the word and lending a hand at Newcastle Uni
Description
Come to walk, run and do good things at Newcastle University Students Union.
Following a successful partnership with the students last year, we are back with some regular visits to help out with a number of the University societies. This is a great task with lots of things to do, and a great space to stay for the fitness session too!
GoodGym is for everyone. There will be a walk leader to look after those wishing to walk, and a back marker there to keep everyone together. We meet at Hotel Indigo where there is a place to leave bags and get changed if you need to.
See you then!
Date and time
6:15pm - 8:00pm Monday, 10th of February 2020
Walkable
You will be able to join a group walking to the task if you'd prefer not to run.
Options are available to run between 3km and 3km in total
Remember that we run/walk to and from the task, so you'll only be running/walking for half this distance in one go.
This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New runners are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
There's a place to leave bags and a toilet at the start point, all you need to do is bring your trainers. It's free to try - get involved!
