Camino Ultra London 50km- Volunteers Wanted!
Super grassroots race organisers (and ultra legends) Daz N Bone are introducing a new London ultra marathon!
Please note that this party has been cancelled.
Camino Ultra London is a new 50km running event starting in Welwyn Garden City, and following the River Lea Navigation to Hackney Wick.
An exciting and very accessible event for those wanting to go beyond the marathon distance for the first time, or wanting to test their pace on a flat, very runnable course- and the only race of its type in London to date.
Set up by ultra running coaches Daz N Bone (Darren Strachan and David Bone), this is a super grass roots event, and would not be possible without the help of the amazing team of London volunteers already charged with setting up the proceedings.
Daz N Bone are currently looking for anyone who would be interested in taking on any of the following roles on the day:
Course Marshals Aid Station Assistants Registration Assistants Finishing Area Assistants Sweepers Close Down Assistants Course Clearing Assistants Any volunteering will take place in accordance to government guidelines. Volunteer safety is of top importance during these times.
A follow-up email will be sent closer to the event date to discuss the volunteer opportunities available.

With a heavy heart, I have to announce that the Camino London Ultra has been cancelled following the recent government announcements.
Daz n Bone were so thrilled with the support offered by the Goodgym community (we even had a shout-out on the official Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/CGX5308nlv0/?igshid=h03jr1u85x4o).
The plan is to host it at the same time next year, so all being well, we will be there to help again (and to support Goodgym runners possibly taking on their first ultra marathon adventure!).
Thank you for signing up. It made me feel very proud of our community.
All the best
