Run by the community, the garden provides space for growing food and flowers, learning about gardening, and creating a calmer, greener environment in a busy urban area. It’s more than just a garden — it’s a place for connection, bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together to build relationships, support wellbeing, and take pride in their local neighbourhood 🌱

Join us for a fantastic Saturday session at Little Ilford Community Garden, where we’ll be helping build brand new planters to give the space a boost. These planters will support growing food and flowers, making the garden an even more welcoming place for local residents to come together.

Since it’s a Saturday, there’s a bonus option to kick things off with a Valentine’s parkrun! It's just round the corner and all the details are on the parkrun website.

You’re very welcome to:

Run, walk or cheer at parkrun first (9am start)
Grab some breakfast together afterwards
Then head over to the task as a group

Or, if you’d rather, you can simply meet us directly at the garden for the task itself at 11am.

Either way, you’ll be part of a hands-on project that will have a lasting impact on the space and the people who use it 🌿
