Brent River Park
The Brent River & Canal Society was set up in 1973 to campaign for the creation of the Brent River Park. By 1985, with the cooperation of Ealing Council, the aim of having a continuous and integrated park was largely achieved with great success and community support. BRP charity now works to safeguard and improve the River Brent and surrounding meadow, woodland and wetland habitats to ensure this beautiful green and blue space continues to benefit the health of our environment, our wildlife and us.

About

On Sunday 29th June, the Brent River Park charity, with the support of Ealing Council, will be holding an event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the park. Churchfields Recreation Ground will host a family-friendly event celebrating the past and future of Brent River Park. The free programme includes nature walks and talks exploring the park’s history and wildlife, creative art and writing sessions inspired by the landscape, a social run along the river, and children’s activities marking the 25th anniversary of the Millennium Maze with a Mad Hatter storyteller.
