Who this task will support
Bath Scouts Service Crew
Part of Bath Scouts http://www.bathscouts.org/our-centres/cleeve-hill-campsite/, volunteers that meet every 6 weeks to improve the Cleeve Hill Campsie which is the Bath District Campsite.

Every 4-6 weeks volunteers from Bath Scouts Service Crew meet at the Bath District Campsite and do lots of great work maintaining the facilities there.

This is a really fun outdoors task! Tasks typically involve painting, cutting back bushes and burning old wood.

If you have any questions please contact Alex on 07876595634.

Logistics:

  • Meet at the campsite at 1100
  • The volunteers finish at 1600. However, if you need to leave earlier then that is fine
  • The team have kindly offered to provide lunch. Please speak to Alex on the day about this.
  • They usually find a pub for a meal and a drink to reward themselves after the hard work. All are welcome to join!
  • There is somewhere dry indoors that you can leave bags/coats etc
  • There is access to running water to get a drink of water
  • The campsite is on Kelston Road. More information, including a map can be found here

Please note: despite the fact that the run listing says I am leading I am not able to attend this task unfortunately.

Meet in the foyer of the leisure centre. Look out for GoodGym members with red t-shirts. There's space to change and leave bags and toilets. We're not planning to do anything purposefully dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk. Participants accept full responsibility for items stored at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre, and Bath Sports and Leisure Centre and GoodGym will not be held liable for any losses or damages.
