The Wellbeing House is a free five day retreat/respite for those wanting to enhance their mental health and wellbeing. Our beautiful and peaceful environment provides a place of sanctuary, where customers can receive support to help them stabilise themselves to prevent a crisis escalating, and the aim is to help them recognise and develop their own strategies for crisis prevention and management, whilst in a nurturing and supportive environment.

We have been asked to run along and help them set up a new relaxation room. This will involve moving furniture and some painting.

This is a chance to help a great organisation and really make a difference. Plus, painting and organising rooms is a great way to switch off from everything else and look after our mental wellbeing, too. So sign up now!

Hi everyone. Super bummed out that I'm missing this one. 'The Wellbeing House' looks like a brilliant initiative. I could probably do with a stay in there. I'm off to Yeovil today to 'assess a HomeGroup facility - which is a similar sort of project. (Not sure what I'll be doing tbh. My train pulls into to Bath Spa at 18:18, so I won't be able to make it.
I will, however, be running. I've got to improve my fitness ASAP!
It's great to see so many people signing up to the runs & volunteering!
Best of luck.

Sorry to hear you can't make it, Will. Hope Yeovil goes well. Thanks for the well wishes and I look forward to you joining us soon!

IMPORTANT- Group run cancellation

Following extensive research, consultation with our trustees and work on how GoodGym as a community can play a positive role during the Coronavirus outbreak we have reached the conclusion to make extensive changes to our operations. **All group runs will stop for the foreseeable future** - this includes this week’s runs. This decision has been made as these are the events at which most people gather and at which we are most at risk of spreading infection.

We will continue to update this page with our most up to date guidance - https://www.goodgym.org/stories/coronavirus-information-for-goodgym-activities

New to GoodGym?

This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.

New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
