Ardwick Climate Actions' mission is to protect our local environment through grassroots advocacy that engages the local community. Our work encompasses the renewing of green spaces, monitoring pollution levels, climate advocacy through community engagement. Ardwick is one of the most deprived areas in Manchester, and much work is needed to reengage and sensitise the community back to nature and the climate crisis that affects all its residents.

Ardwick Climate Action are hosting a Neighbourhood Nature Fair and People's Emergency Briefing on 3rd October. The fair starts at 2.30pm at Brunswick Parish Church, Brunswick Street, M13 9SX - What3words: ///washed.pigs.sports

Activities include:

  • bicycle repairs
  • info about nature
  • herb planting
  • money & energy saving tips
  • help for home improvements
  • art creation of bottle top mural
  • cakes and refreshments

We're a friendly and social group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every week to get active and do a physical task to help the charities and community organisations and projects across the Manchester region.
