Friends of Kennington ParkOur friends at Melanin Health and the FoKP are looking for volunteers to support the 6th free Kennington Park Festival (Kennington Park, SE11 4BE) on Sunday the 5th of July, which also this year is organised in collaboration with the Friends of Kennington Park.
Set-up will take place from 10am–1pm, and breakdown from 5.30-7.30pm, although any time individuals can offer would be greatly appreciated.
10am – 1pm – Helping to prepare the festival site, including setting up gazebos, assisting with the stage area, and stewarding stall holder vehicles as they arrive.
5.30– 7.30pm – Helping with event breakdown, including packing away equipment and clearing the site. It’s a great opportunity for anyone to get involved in a large community event, gain hands-on experience, and support a local festival.
As a thank you, volunteers will receive a free lunch on the day!
