About the task

We've been asked by the Poppy Appeal peeps in Penge if we can lend putting up some big poppies on lamposts on Penge High Street.

We'll do a little jog first and then get sticking them up.

๐Ÿ“ Meet at the Bridge House from 6:45pm.

๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ 7pm group jog to the task

โœ… 7:20 complete the task

๐Ÿงƒ 8:00 go home

๐Ÿ‘Ÿ New to running? We jog at a relaxed pace and always have a backmarker so no-one gets left behind.

โฐ Running late or donโ€™t fancy the jog? Meet us at the task venue (outside Burger King!) at 7:15pm

๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿงค Dress for the task/weather - gardening gloves for outside tasks, head torch for dark tasks.

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym group run, with the option of walking too. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run or walk to the task together. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us by email at crystalpalace@goodgym.org.

The total distance of this group run is 2km.

Remember that we will be running or walking to and from the task, so you'll only be running or walking for half this distance in one go.

GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
