All of our tasks are fun, but this one really felt like we were having a clear and direct impact on those in need, and whilst packing the bags we could literally imagine a child opening their bag on Christmas Day.

Camden Estate Community Food Garden
A small garden of passionate food growers

Our community garden was developed on a neglected piece of land in 2013 with the aim to offer local residents the opportunity to grow a range of sessional vegetables and fruit. The focus of the garden is to develop community relationships and social interaction by sharing skills, knowledge and promoting the benifits of spending time outdoors.

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Simon Fitzmaurice by email at simonfitzmaurice@goodgym.org.

Options are available to run between 4km and 7km in total.

Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
