For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
You will be given a shopping list by the foodbank.
Your task is to hand this out to shoppers and ask them if they would like to buy a couple of items on the list with their shopping for donation to the foodbank. You will also be loading donations out of the donation trolley into crates for transfer to the foodbank. Please be careful when lifting them!
The usual shifts are 9-11, 11-1, 1-3 and 3-5 but any time you can be there will be helpful. Please comment below to let us know what time you'd like to cover. And don't forget to take a picture and either write a little report via the email or send your picture to katie.cr@goodgym.org to get your good deed registered.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
This session is organised by your Taskforce, a group of experienced GoodGym members in your area. They are not responsible for your safety. You should feel confident to participate in the session as it is described and you do so at your own risk.
