For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
About this session
The Friends of Hornfair Park are running the second Hornfair PARKSfest event on Sunday 22nd June 12-4pm, in partnership with local arts charity GFMA. It will be similar to last year with live music, food and craft stalls and various free children’s activities, together with a range of community and voluntary groups sharing information about health, wellbeing and community safety and connecting people with what is going on locally and in the park.
They are looking for 3 traffic marshals to cover arrivals of stall holders from 8 to 11am, and then 3 to cover exit from 4.30 to 6.30. Three means there is some-one on hand to cover for the unexpected, to make breaks possible, or to help out with site set-up if needed.
They are also looking for a couple of volunteers to be roaming stewards throughout the event to pick up litter and generally be on hand if anyone needs help.
