For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
St Margaret's House were in touch last Autumn to see if we could lend a hand with some tasks in the newly landscaped garden. The garden now hosts monthly social gardening sessions - St Margaret's House "love to involve our community in the maintenance of the garden. So many of us don’t have access to a garden at home, so we want to make our garden available to everyone who is looking for that opportunity. Gardening can be a really therapeutic activity that is good for wellbeing, so join us!"
Tasks may include:
Weeding - in the garden and around the settlement
Watering
Litter-picking around the settlement
Task Owner Emily leads this task and several members of GoodGym Tower Hamlets Task Force have signed out
There will be plenty of equipment at the task, including gardening gloves, eye protection, litter pickers, gardening hand tools and kneeling mats, but please bring our own gardening gloves if you have them.
