For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
Another return visit to Pinewood Nurseries to help with the community recycling hub.
During this mission a key task will be sorting and preparing crisp packets for onward distribution to the crisp packet project. This project converts the packets into survival sheets and bivi bags for the homeless.
There will be other tasks such as sorting, weighing, packing and labelling other recycling streams ready for collection/delivery.
You can stay for as little or as long as you wish as 'every little helps'.
Masks/face coverings need to be worn to enter the premises but can be removed for the duration of the task. You may want to bring your own gardening/work gloves although disposable gloves are provided.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
This session is organised by your Taskforce, a group of experienced GoodGym members in your area. They are not responsible for your safety. You should feel confident to participate in the session as it is described and you do so at your own risk.
You may want to bring a bottle of water as it can be hot in the work area.
