About this session

Join us to get a good workout in digging holes and planting bulbs on Petersham Common.

All tools and training will be provided but please do bring a headtorch if you have one. Gloves will be available but you may prefer to bring your own. This task is suitable for new starters and you are guaranteed a warm welcome.

Meeting at the Tap Tavern, we will run together to the task, and back again after. You are very welcome to meet us there if you would rather not run though. Tap Tavern kindly lend us a secure space to keep bags too if you have anything you need to leave safely.

If you would like to meet at the task, you can find us at around 7.15pm at Petersham Farm Gates.

What to look out for

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

Dark task
Dark task

The area you are working in may be in darkness which could cause a risk of trips or concealed hazards.

This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Liz (She/her) by email at lizjones@goodgym.org.

Options are available to run between 4km and 5km in total.

Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
