About this session

The task will requite a mix of digging, wheelbarrowing and stamping in the gravel to provide a good surface. All tools and instruction will be provided, no experience necessary. If the paths are complete or there is any spare time, we will be helping out with some litter picking and tree felling in the same area.

First timers very welcome, it will be a great task to feel useful, get a good workout, and meet other members.

Meet at the Tap Tavern at 6.45pm for our group run (for all fitness levels) to Petersham Farm. The Tap kindly let us leave our bags in a locked room so if you have anything you would prefer not to run with, please turn up a few minutes early to drop it off.

We will run together to the task, carry out the task and run back again. If you cannot join the run, you are more than welcome to join us at the task location. Here is a precise what3words address, made of 3 random words. Every 3 metre square in the world has its own unique what3words address: https://w3w.co/assets.vine.corn

What to look out for

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym group run, with the option of walking too. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run or walk to the task together. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Liz (She/her) by email at lizjones@goodgym.org.

Options are available to run between 3km and 6km in total.

Remember that we will be running or walking to and from the task, so you'll only be running or walking for half this distance in one go.
