For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
In this session you'll join the friendly volunteers from Friends of Lesnes Abbey and Woods for their monthly litterpick.
You'll get a great step count as you chat and help tidy up this lovely area.
Please bring sturdy gloves if you have some, otherwise you can borrow some from the organisers 🧤. Litter picks and bin bags will be provided.
It's recommended to wear old clothing as you may end up walking through undergrowth, and dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
Drinks from the Chestnuts Kiosk are a lovely treat afterwards. Perhaps bring a reusable cup if you have one.
📍Meeting point: at the picnic table on the grassy area behind The Lodge/Chestnuts Kiosk café near the abbey ruins. Look out for the organisers in high-vis jackets.
Helping promote, protect and preserve the historic Lesnes Abbey and Wood.
