For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
In this session you'll join the friendly volunteers from Friends of Lesnes Abbey and Woods (FOLAW) for their monthly litterpick.
You'll get a great step count as you chat and help tidy up the area in the woods and parkland.
Please bring sturdy gloves if you have some, otherwise you can borrow some from the organisers 🧤. Litter picks and bin bags will be provided.
It's recommended to wear old clothing as you may end up walking through undergrowth, and dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
There may not be a GoodGym Bexley leader at this task, but the FOLAW organisers will make you feel very welcome. Look out for other GoodGymers and perhaps one of you can write short report and add photos of you at the task via the 'Mission Accomplished' email that will land in your inbox later in the day.
Drinks from the Chestnuts Kiosk are a lovely treat afterwards. Don't forget to bring a reusable cup if you have one.
