For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!
Mind in Bexley are hosting a Mental Elf 5K Fun Run in Danson Park, and have asked our help to make sure the event happens smoothly.
We were there last year and it was great fun, so come and join us for another festive outing as part of Team Elf!
There are several ways to get involved:
๐โโ๏ธ Course marshall โ cheer on the runners and keep them on track.
๐ถโโก๏ธ Tail walker โ make sure nobody is left behind or finishes last.
๐ฆ Drinks station โ keep thirsty runners topped up with water.
๐ Finish line flag waver โ give runners a fitting welcome as they cross the line!
If you'd like to do a particular role leave a message in the comments, or you can take pot luck and see where the organisers place you.
๐ Timings
Please arrive by 8.30am for a briefing.
The run starts at 10.00am and should finish by 12.00pm.
If youโre able to stay until 2.00pm to help with the pack-down, even better โ Santa will definitely have you on his nice list! ๐๐
๐ Meeting point and contact
Meet at The Stables Restaurant, 51 Danson Rd, Bexleyheath DA6 8HL. Ask for Damian, or anyone from the Mind in Bexley team.
And thereโs a little bonus to get you started: free tea and coffee will be waiting for you on arrival! โ What more could an elf ask for?
