GoodGym x Move10 - start your weekend with a blast of jogging fitness!
Richard, one of Barnet's Goodgymmers is going to the Sunny Hill parkrun and he wants you to join him!
Meet at the starting point at 8:50 for 9am start. Approximate Google Maps.
Every Saturday at 9:00am, runners, joggers and walkers gather on the Heath for a free, timed 5km. There’s no pressure and no pace to keep up with, because it’s about you against the clock, or just you enjoying the morning. Run it for a personal best or stroll it with a friend, and either way you’re welcome.
Elevation Gain: 99 metres of climbing over the 5km, which makes it one of the hilliest parkruns in London.
Terrain: It’s a mix of forest-style dirt trail, gravel and tarmac. The last stretch to the finish is on grass.
Layout: It’s 2 clockwise laps through the woodlands and up through Parliament Hill Fields.
PB Potential: Your first run is your baseline. Whatever time you get becomes the number to beat next time. That’s a Heath PB, and it’s a fair one because the course never changes.
After the run we support Parkrun they needs volunteers to scan people's barcodes as well as giving people a chance to run 5km at 9am every Saturday for their health. Register for free on their website to track times and sign up as a volunteer steward.
If scanning is not possible we will do litter picking for the benefit of the local community.

Afterwards, there may be time for a quick social in the park cafe. Message in the comments if you're only stewarding, so you can arrange to meet up.
Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.
This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
