Digging out brambles!
Denny Gardens Community Allotments are in Littlemore. This is a new task location for us. A project run by the lovely Meg of Rose Hill planter fame!
ODS have completed an initial vegetative site clearance but there are lots of bramble roots that need to be cleared. And you all know we love pulling out roots!
Please bring gardening gloves. All other tools will be provided.
For this task we will all meet at Hollywood Bowl, Ozone Leisure Park, Grenoble Rd, Littlemore, Oxford OX4 4XP. We will then walk as a group to the task site.
There will be a run after the task.
Oxfordshire Community Land Trust (OCLT) acts as long-term steward of land and the assets on it, ensuring that it's put to use in a way that benefits the local community, not just now but in perpetuity. We're a democratic, not-for-profit organisation run by members including those from the communities we seek to serve. This project is about creating a community allotment in an unused patch of land in Denny Garden situated in Littlemore. The land, owned by Oxford City Council, is designated as land for growing food, but has lain unused for many years.

This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Bethan Greenaway by email at bethan@goodgym.org.
Options are available to run between 3km and 5km in total.
Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
Meet at the northern side of the stadium
