Getting there

For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!

    About this session

This Sunday it's Apple Harvest Day

Come to help and enjoy a fun afternoon for a celebration of apples and autumn!

Brighton Permaculture Trust is looking for volunteers to join the Apple Harvest Day's team with a number of volunteering opportunities all day along.

General help with setting up and packing down (which would involve some heavy lifting) during the wall day - Ask Nick Casey what's needed.

Please both sign up on this GoodGym's session and register for any of the specific tasks with Brighton Permaculture Trust to let the team know. Nick is our reference guy on the day!

GoodGym is most welcome towards the end of the day for some general help to pack down while enjoying the music band :-)

For directions to the Fruit Factory (in Stanmer Park): https://brightonpermaculture.org.uk/directions/

As GoodGym-er you would get there by riding a bike (25min on bike lanes along Lewes road to Falmer Village), or running or walking from the nearest train/bus station. Here the options via public transport:

Train: The nearest train station is Falmer Station, and you can get to Falmer from Brighton or Lewes in 10 minutes

Bus: #23, #25, #25X, #28 and #29 buses run between Brighton and the entrance to Stanmer Park. #78 from Old Steine, central Brighton, to Stanmer village on weekends (starting at 10am).
