Myself and Lucy were met at Mr D’s by his son. Our task was to remove a king size mattress and base 🛏️ plus headboard and put them outside under cover at the side of the house.

We managed to wiggle the heavy mattress through several tight turns and got it outside despite the handles only being on the long edges and we were pushing/pulling on the short edges. A design fault we think! 🤔

Next was the base which fortunately was in two separate pieces and with the drawers removed were quite light and much easier to manoeuvre. A bit of tipping and more wiggling to get them around the final corner and you’d think we were professionals! The headboard was light too and not attached to anything so we soon had everything moved outside in around 10 minutes.

Mr D’s son was very grateful for our help and he can now make sure that Mr D can be discharged home. 🏠

As we were finished so quickly we had time to go to a local café for some lunch 🥓 🥯 ☕️ 🫖 and celebrate having done a good deed with a big impact.
