Over the last few months Norwood Allotments have been taken over by weeds and there is a lot of work to before planting can be done.

Enter GoodGym.

After a loooooooong break, five GGSheffers headed east to help PXI Projects clear the beds to give their vegetable growing a kick start. It was clear that there was a lot of work to do and so we concentrated on two beds on this visit. Amongst the weeds, we discovered chives, pink poppies, borrage and Oak, so careful to retain these we started to drag everything out around them.

In just two hours we cleared the beds and managed to get some cabbages planted too. The before and after pics are pretty awesome. There is still loads of work to do so we are hoping to go back in the not so distant future.

It's good to be back :)
