Five runners met at the Love Life Sports Ground to tackle the many weeds that have appeared over the course of lockdown. Highlights included an abundance of tall thistles, a petrol strimmer that wouldn’t start, and the lovely Bobby (GG Barnsley’s canine member) basking in the evening sun. Some of the weeds were fairly hefty and had some pretty impressive roots, but that made them all the more satisfying to pull up. We made a great start - let’s hope we can return soon!
