Today's largely trouble free shop for Mr T at his local Lidl was incidental to the conversations we had pre shop, involving famous golfers of times past and Mr T quizzing me in turn as to whether so and so famous golfer was still alive (most of them were...or at least the last time I checked), and then, after my return with his shopping whereupon we continued our conversation, his daytime television programme recommendation to me...a US program called "Hardcore Pawn", set (as you can well guess) in a giant family run pawnshop in Detroit...of course it was only once he started describing the program to me did the proverbial penny drop...
