I headed over to help Ms N on what felt like a bit of spring was in the air. The grass had got to the point where it was just a bit too much to tackle alone, and she'd been missing being able to sit out on her bench and enjoy the garden. I got the lawn back under control and set about tidying the edges. We discovered Ms N's rakes were past their best - a couple were broken - but I still managed to rake everything through.

Right on cue, the sun came out for a glorious five minutes just as I finished. Ms N was able to step outside and see the difference, which was lovely. We rounded things off with a cup of spiced tea and a chat.
